I am currently enrolled in a training and certification program, and thought I’d ask some opinions. What do you like/dislike about teachers? In a general, eclectic session, do you place importance more on meditation/breathing or fitness? What are some bad habits you have seen before, and what did the best yoga teacher you ever had do that was so special?

I’m 20 and in college. My concentration power is poor for which I am struggling in my studies. So I really want to improve my concentration. Secondly I really want to go and talk with a girl who is one year my junior in my college but is lacking the courage to do so at present. Can these problems be solved my meditation?

By nature, I tend to be overly emotional and sensitive, this has caused me problems in the past. I was just wondering if anyone might have any knowledge on how to fix this problem, through meditation or any other method.

How useful is meditation before a workout and exercise ?
Lets say before a very vigorous workout, If I meditate and free my mind. Will be able to control the pain better when exercising. For example, I do the horse stance. (Martial arts stance). I can sit in it for 5 minutes. If I meditate before I do those kind of exercises, will I have the mental strength to do more.
Thank you

I heard many doctors feel that the practice of meditation is good for a persons health. But the only thing I heard is that it relaxes the body so that the natural defences have a better opportunity to fend off viruses.
