Yoga’s sun salutations are among the most refined and effective movement meditations for health and well-being ever created. Originally practiced to connect to the sun’s vitality—this precise combination of forward bends, backbends, and inversions awakens the breath and promotes circulation and inner balance through the flow of prana shakti—our creative life force. On Sun Salutations, internationally acclaimed vinyasa flow yoga teacher Shiva Rea presents a complete at-home course. Learn More …

her movements are so subtle, yet so effective!
This video is 100% devoid of the basic American principles that made this country the great land it once was….
I would really like to know the music from this beautiful video. I looked up the aritist and other album placed on page 1 but it didnt match. Hope someone can help
Great video and very visually beautiful, but she seems to be missing a few poses like plank and up into upward facing dog. Her movements also dont seem very fluid which is key in sun salutation…
I must be the only person on the planet who finds shiva reas dvds hard to see and hard to follow… I do keep trying though!
amazing shiva rea… please can anyone tell me how often a week or a day i have to do sun salutation and i’d like to know if it helps to increase height a bit.
a beautiful video, shiva rea seems to be doing an beginner-intermediate level (??) sun salutation. with low cobra.. physically moving the foot forward etc but as always with vinyasa.. gorgeous flow
love this video; it really works for me
thanks
Aum Hrah Bhaskaraya Namah
She’s gorgeous…
Sorry, it’s mentioned above…it’s from her Sun Salutations DVD. Love it!
I love this video!! From which DVD is this excerpt?
I am thinking this is Rara Avis, it’s also possible it might be Jai Uttal from the album Drops of Nectar.
What is this music? I love this track, I’d love to find just the music – anybody know?
She is an inspiration. Truly an embodiment of perfection.Thank you so much for sharing this, Namah Shivaya.
This is the classical Surya Namaskar C; it is a low cobra. She moves from inchworm into the low cobra, then lifts her hands from the mat to strengthen the lower back muscles.
Esto es espectacular con Shiva Rea
Sorry riding horse asan.
Do whatever you have to just don’t call it classical sun salutation. Where was the bhujangasan.
I hope to post more sample clips from her other videos soon
amazing!!! reminds me of home in my heart and soul!
I love her.
